Who we are and what this policy covers.

Auwave Private Limited (“Auwave”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an Indian company providing product strategy, design, software engineering, AI and workflow automation, modernization, and related consulting services.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website, contact us, explore a potential engagement, become a client or supplier, or otherwise interact with Auwave. It does not automatically govern products we build for clients where the client decides why and how personal data is processed.

The information we handle depends on how you interact with us. We do not ask website visitors to create accounts, provide passwords, submit payment cards, or provide biometric data.

How we receive it

You provide information directly when you email, call, meet with us, sign an agreement, or work with our team. Technical event data is generated when your browser requests a page. We may also receive business contact information from a colleague, referral partner, public professional profile, or service provider where lawful.

Why we use personal data.

  • Respond to inquiries, understand a potential engagement, and prepare proposals or audits.
  • Enter into, manage, and deliver contracts, projects, support, and client communications.
  • Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve this website and our business systems.
  • Manage invoices, accounting, tax, supplier, and corporate records.
  • Protect Auwave, our clients, and others from misuse, fraud, security incidents, and legal claims.
  • Send relevant service updates or marketing communications where you have asked for them or where law otherwise permits; you may opt out at any time.
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and professional obligations.

Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on your consent, your voluntary request for a service, steps toward or performance of a contract, compliance with law, and other uses permitted by applicable data-protection law. We do not use consent as a blanket justification for unrelated processing.

When data leaves Auwave.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with:

  • Hosting, cloud, email, communications, form-delivery, project-management, accounting, security, and professional service providers that support our operations, including Web3Forms for website inquiry delivery.
  • Auwave personnel and contractors who need the information for an engagement and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Client-authorized platforms and integration providers used to deliver a project.
  • Regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • A successor or transaction adviser in connection with a genuine merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

We expect service providers to use personal data only for the agreed service and to apply appropriate safeguards. The specific providers used for a client project may be documented in that project’s contract or data-processing terms.

A deliberately light website footprint.

The current Auwave website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling, or client-side analytics tags. It may use essential infrastructure features required to deliver and protect the site. Our hosting provider may process ordinary request and security logs.

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and may load brand imagery from auwave.com. When your browser requests these resources, the relevant provider can receive technical request data such as your IP address and browser information under its own terms.

Inquiry forms

The “Start a conversation”, project, audit, and availability forms send the information you enter to Web3Forms, which delivers it to Auwave by email and may retain submission records according to our account settings and its privacy terms. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive credentials through these forms.

We keep data for a reason—not forever.

We retain personal data only while it remains reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy, an active or prospective business relationship, support and warranty needs, dispute resolution, security, or a legal recordkeeping obligation. Retention varies by record type and may be set more specifically in a client agreement.

When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise, or securely archive it as appropriate. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles.

Security

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access restrictions, secure transport, confidentiality commitments, software and infrastructure controls, and incident response practices appropriate to the information and context. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate, contain, document, and provide notifications to affected people and authorities when applicable law requires it, within the timelines then prescribed by law.

You can ask, correct, delete, or object.

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, explain how it is used and shared, correct or complete inaccurate data, erase data that is no longer required, withdraw consent for future processing, or raise a grievance.

Where relevant provisions of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules apply and are in force, we will also support the rights and procedures they provide, including access, correction, completion, updating, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination.

To make a request, email privacy@auwave.com. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of a request. Some information may need to be retained where law, a contract, security, or the rights of others require it.

Regulatory status

India’s DPDP Act and Rules are being commenced in stages. This policy describes Auwave’s present practices and will be updated as further operative requirements become applicable. It does not describe data portability as a DPDP right because the Act does not create that right.

Important boundaries.

International processing

Auwave works globally and uses service providers that may process data outside India. Where cross-border processing occurs, we use contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service and follow restrictions imposed by applicable law.

Children

Our website and business services are designed for organisations and adults, not children. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from anyone under 18 through this site. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Third-party links

This website links to client work and third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and Auwave is not responsible for their content or data handling.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, website, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version here and update the “Last reviewed” date. Material changes may be communicated through an additional notice where appropriate.

Questions, requests, or concerns?

Write to our privacy contact with enough detail for us to understand the request. If your concern relates to a client project, include the client or project name but do not email passwords, access tokens, government identifiers, or other sensitive material.
